Soil nutrient concentrations are often reported in parts-per-million (ppm or mg/kg). For
each six-inch sample depth, these values can be doubled to approximate the nutrient
content on a pound per acre basis. If values are given as a range, use the maximum value
in the range (ex: 0" to 6" = 6", 0’ to 1’ = 12", and 0’ to 3’ = 36"). Enter nutrient
concentration and sample thickness to derive estimated soil nutrient content.
