It is a violation for any person to refuse to permit entry or inspection, or interfere with the performance of the duties of an enforcement officer, including making verbal or physical threats or sexual or discriminatory harassment.

5-17-2022 An adequate, protected, pressurized, potable supply of hot water and cold water shall be provided at all times. (113953(c), 114099.2(b) 114101(a), 114189, 114192, 114192.1, 114195) 7.00 Provide hot and cold water under pressure through a mixing valve to each sink compartment. The water supply shall be from a water system approved by the health officer or the state department. An adequate, protected, pressurized, potable supply of hot water, at least 120°F, and cold water shall be provided.

Handwashing facilities shall be equipped to provide warm water under pressure for a minimum of 15 seconds. If the temperature of water provided is not readily adjustable at the faucet, the temperature of the water shall be at least 100°F, but not greater than 108°F. Handwashing facilities shall be sufficient in number and conveniently located so as to be accessible at all times for use by food employees
Observed the hot water measured at 101F. The manager was knowledgeable and cease further cleaning of utensils. No food prep was conducted until the hot water heater was repaired on 5/18/22. On 5/18/22 hot water at 131F was available again. 0122 CAFETERIA [SCHOOL]

The non-food-contact surfaces of equipment shall be kept free of an accumulation of dust, dirt, food residue, and other debris. Equipment shall be reassembled so that food-contact surfaces are not contaminated.
(1) SECOND REPEAT: Observed multiple lower shelves in the kitchen area (under counters, lower portion of prep tables) where the galvanized finish appears to have worn off and rust is still visible. Repair or replace rusting areas to prevent potential cross contamination, and to ensure all surfaces are smooth and easily cleanable.

(2) REPEAT: Observed ANSUL feed lines to heads under the hood are rusting and becoming rough, threaded bolts sticking out, dust accumulation sticking to rust debris and threads of bolts. Accumulation is located directly over cooking equipment, and could present a source of potential contamination. Also observed signs of rust in areas under the hood including the brace below the row of grease filters. Repair / replace such that all surfaces are smooth, easily cleanable, non porous, and meet a commercial grade standard.

(3) Observed debris buildup on wall beneath knife holder, and on inside of knife holder unit. Knife holder immediately taken to sink to clean and sanitize, running knives through dish machine. Increase cleaning frequency to prevent the accumulation of visible residue. Corrected during inspection.

(4) Observed air curtain not functioning for the walk in cooler that opens to the outside, pending repair, part already ordered (longer than usual part delivery time due to COVID), estimate repair to be completed within 2 weeks. Provide functioning air curtains over outdoor walk in unit doors.
