Food facility's or manufacturer's dating information, such as date codes or "use by" statements on packaging may not be concealed or altered.
(1) SECOND REPEAT: Observed whole uncut produce for sale in bins that still lack proper identifying information. Label all bulk sale items at least with the common name of each type of produce in English (other languages may also be listed, if desired, in addition to the English name of each type of bulk item for sale).

(2) SECOND REPEAT: Observed overall improvement in labeling of prepackaged items, but labels on some of the prepackaged dried fruits and nuts in closed bags are still lacking / packages are not marked with the required information. Provide complete labeling information as outlined in the corrective text on all prepackaged food items. All prepackaged food items must be obtained from an approved source / be properly labeled from the approved source location.

Lockers or other suitable facilities shall be provided and used for the orderly storage of employee clothing and other possessions. Lockers or other suitable facilities shall be located in a designated room or area where contamination of food, equipment, utensils, linens, and single-use articles cannot occur. Dressing rooms or dressing areas shall be provided and used by employees if the employees regularly change their clothes in the facility.
REPEAT: Observed broken / unused equipment still present in / around the facility that is not being kept clean or functional. Remove unused equipment to prevent the potential formation of vermin harborage. Failure to keep the premises of each food facility free of items that are unnecessary to the operation or maintenance of the facility, such as equipment that is not functional or is no longer used. 4.00 Post permit in a conspicuous place (It is recommended that the permit be in customer view.). Post a notice advising patrons that a copy of the most recent routine inspection report is available for review by interested parties. Keep a copy of the most recent health inspection report at the facility for customer review purposes.

Post and maintain a legible and conspicuous sign in each toilet room directing attention to the need to thoroughly wash hands after using the toilet.

(1) REPEAT: Observed lack of a copy of the current year's Health Permit to Operate being posted within the facility. Permit located, to be kept posted within the farm stand itself.

(2) REPEAT: Observed lack of a visibly posted notice to inform patrons that the facility is inspected by the local health department. Maintain a sign in a conspicuous location to inform patrons that the facility is inspected. (A copy of the required notice is available on the Merced County Environmental Health website). (3) REPEAT: Observed lack of knowledge of the location of a copy of the most recent health inspection at the facility location. Maintain a copy of the most recent health inspection at the facility location, and ensure that employees are aware of its whereabouts and can provide a copy for customer inspection during all hours of operation. (113980, 113982, 114021-114031, 114035, 114041) 2.00 If food is from unapproved, unsafe, or otherwise unverifiable sources, the food shall be voluntarily discarded or impounded. Observed multiple produce items for sale that bear stickers indicating they were not grown nearby but were purchased and are being resold at this location. At least 50% of the produce for sale at a farm stand shall have been grown in proximity to and on property owned by the farm stand operator. Processed prepackaged non potentially hazardous food items shall be limited to not more than 50 square feet of display and storage space, and shall be incidental in nature to the sale of whole, uncut, unprocessed produce that shall make up not less than 50% of the items for sale at the permitted farm stand location.
