Observed towels being used under items that are stored upside down, ready to be used in the preparation of beverage items at the front counter area. Remove towels. Use smooth and easily cleanable surfaces to store clean utensils and items to be used in contact with food to reduce the likelihood of unintended cross contamination. Towels should only be used once and then placed in a designated location for laundering, OR should be stored in sanitizer between uses so as to prevent unintended cross contamination from occurring. Towels removed under front counter beverage making utensils, replaced with smooth pans. Corrected during inspection. 0101 FOOD ESTAB. W/FOOD PREP 0-49 SEATS (HM4)
9-28-2021 Any food is misbranded if its labeling is false or misleading, if it is offered for sale under the name of another food, or if it is an imitation of another food for which a definition and standard of identity has been established by regulation. The label shall contain the following information:
(1) The common name of the food.
(2) A list of ingredients in descending order of predominance by weight.
(3) The weight, count, or volume.
(4) The name and place of business of the manufacturer, packer, or distributor.
Nutrition labeling may also be required, and must be included when it is available from the manufacturer.

Food facility's or manufacturer's dating information, such as date codes or "use by" statements on packaging may not be concealed or altered.
Observed 'grab and go' items available for customer purchase that lack full label information. Items relocated to cooler behind front counter such that customers must engage with an employee to purchase these items. Be sure required food information is available from the employees (such as in a binder with a page for each different type of item for sale, for example) if a customer should ask for information on any items that are prepackaged and do not have a full individual label. Any items available for 'grab and go' purchase must have at least the four pieces of information listed in the accompanying corrective text. 0101 FOOD ESTAB. W/FOOD PREP 0-49 SEATS (HM4)
