Observed no hot water available. Measured at 78F. Provide hot and cold water under pressure through a mixing valve to the janitorial sink. Hot water shall be at least 120ºF. Employer explained the hot water was turned off because it was too hot. Facility must close until hot water is restored. Closed during inspection.

Maintenance showed up at 10:05am. Discovered water inside the electrical areas of unit. Temperature was set to 125-130F but the unit is not turning on.

Observed the hand sink in the restroom was measured at 95° F. Provide tempered warm water, or both hot and cold running water at all hand washing sinks. If the temperature of water provided is not readily adjustable at the faucet, the temperature of the water shall be at least 100ºF, but not greater than 108ºF.

Observed the water at the janitorial sink was at 130°F but after a lot of dishes were washed the water at all sinks was only reaching 108°F. During inspection it was verified that the water heater approved at opening has been replaced. The new water heater is not sufficient. The minimum requirements for a replacement is as follows:

Submit a specification sheet for replacement approval prior to installation. Inspection required to clear the new heater for use.
