(3) The weight, count, or volume.
(4) The name and place of business of the manufacturer, packer, or distributor.
Nutrition labeling may also be required, and must be included when it is available from the manufacturer.

Food facility's or manufacturer's dating information, such as date codes or "use by" statements on packaging may not be concealed or altered.
ALL PREPACKAGED BAGS OF FOOD (Sugar, oregano, menudo mix, etc.): All prepackaged bags of food presented for retail sale shall have the business information, common english name, and all ingredients (if made from more than 1 item), in addition to the weight, count, quantity, etc. Small bags of sugar, oregano, menudo mix, etc. had "3146 G St., spanish name, and weight." 11-09-2023 Additional information provided to facility operators 0.00 Excerpts from California Health and Safety Code, Division 104 (Environmental Health), Part 7 (California Retail Food Code), sections 113700 through 114437. If you are repackaging bulk food products into smaller bags on site for retail sale, you need to have a proper handwashing station on site (not in the restroom or the mop sink). The handwashing station shall have at least 100 F hot running water along with cold water (or tempered water 100 F - 108 F for at least 15 seconds), single use paper towels inside a dispenser or a hot-air blower, soap in a dispenser, and appropriate floor, walls, and ceiling finishes.

In addition to the handwashing station, you need to have a proper dishwashing station to wash, rinse, and sanitize the utensils/scoops/tongs used for repackaging the food products from larger packages into smaller packages. At least 120 F hot running water along with cold water, sanitizer, sanitizer testing strips, flloor sink, and approriate floor, walls, and ceiling finishes are required.

If you do not have appropriate handwashing and dishwashing stations set up on site, there shall be no repackaging of opened food products for retail sale.
